This is a beautiful and rare complete set of Kodak Transparent Oil Colors, originally made in Rochester, New York. This mid-century artist’s kit was designed for hand-coloring photographic prints, a popular technique before the advent of color photography. The set includes its original blue wooden box, labeled on the lid, with the full instruction booklet and an array of supplies in remarkably preserved condition.

Condition: In good vintage condition. Tubes and bottles show minimal age wear consistent with storage. a few of the paint tubes have cracked and leaked a bit. Bottles retain their original labels. Box shows light surface scuffs on the exterior but retains rich blue color and clear label. A stunning display piece and collectible item for photography or vintage art supply enthusiasts.
